Application: Home use
What I Like: It is small in size and weight. The image is very sharp and bright.
Comments: I used this projector for viewing DVD's. I experienced one problem, due to the DPL-technology: When a (bright)white image, next to a dark(black) image is sweeping across, there is a "rainbow"-effect. (I see a "rainbow" on the edge between the white and black image). According to Evan Powell, this is due to the DLP technology, and newer models of DLP projectors have increased the rotation speed of the color wheel to eliminate this problem.

Application: Rentals
Suggestions: After getting the Davis back from its first rental, the lens cap had a hole burnt in it just slightly smaller than the size of a dime. The customer must have left the cap on while the projector lamp was on, but it shouldn't have burned through the lens cap.
