The different color wheel makes a noticeable improvement in color saturation and contrast. Suggestions: Wish they would improve the internal scaler. It's useless. Comments: This review is based on the new StarLight version of the DreamVision DL500 is the third generation of this projector. This version is a major improvement over the older models. Check it out. RP - May 11, 2000 Application: home theater What I Like: The glossy deep blacks. Bright whites and good contrast. Suggestions: What is with the 16:9 format not being available with RGB input?! I find it terrible that the mfr suggests using a scaler costing more than the whole projector to clean up the artifacts. I also do not like the extremely visible pixel structure such as seen on older LCD projectors. Comments: How about a 1024x768 projector with full use widescreen and a jitter/artifact free picture using the dlp format in the under $7000.00 range to better compete with the sony 10HT?!
