The display was astounding when I initially hooked it up and displayed it on just a white wall, then
it go even better with a screen. I am not a videophile but, have years experince working with high tech equipment
and found the picture to be suberb with computer and various video sources (ie DVD , VCR, and Tuner).
Compared to friends large-screen TV's the picture was definitely better and more versatile. The option of have P-i-P
is great!! With a large portion of my work requiring me to be online, I can work and watch a movie at the same time. |

Unless I am missing something, The P-i-P is limited in that only a Computer input can be the primary picture
and if you have two Video sources connected (with no computer connected) you don't have PIP capablity.
But, take this with a grain of salt...I could be wrong and just haven't figure it out...Which brings me to the Manufactures
manual. The manual could be a lot more specific and detailed. |

Still presentations & video/dvd |
| What I Like: |
Still images are great. Very bright. Good for presentations & anything WITHOUT a lot of motion. |
| Suggestions: |
Try and tweak as I might, this projector will NOT do anything involving motion well, be it video, s-video, or digital (dvd and digital videos.) It didn't surprise me too much to find poor quality on video signal, given the conversion and the amplification to a higher resolution, but it is even worse for DVD's - VERY jumpy and a lot of pixel run, at any resolution and any possible combination of projector settings. It is NOT a good home theater solution! |
