Application: Home Theater
What I Like: Ok, this projector is doing me right! Color is awesome, brightness works just fine at night and during the day I turn the brightness and contrast up and it looks very good. I have huge windows (sliding glass door with see through curtains) and there's much light. The projector's 1200 lumens is enough to splash a good piucture on my 1.5 gain screen. I paid $2500 for my projector on Ebay. That, plus $300 for my 109" 16x9 screen, $300 for my progressive scan dvd player, $200 for my DVD-Audio, Dolby digital 5.1 and DTS receiver and $250 for my JBL surround speaker system totals: $3550 for a Complete HT WITH DVD-AUDIO!!! Now come on! There are people paying $3500 for a 65inch rear projection tv!! And that takes up half a room!
Suggestions: There is no projector that is perfect. Obviously, I'd love to see a 16x9 LCD with 800:1 contrast, 2500 lumens, 30Db of noise (noiseless), and a light with a 2000 hour life and that has a replacement cost of $4000. And I'd like to see it cost $4000. But it isn't going to happen anytime soon.
Comments: The LT155 is hands down, far and away the best value in projectors today. The next step up would be the Sanyo 18, and that would have cost me more than double. I'd rather take my $3000 and buy 150-200 dvds!!!

Application: Home Theater
What I Like: Good color and brightnes even when operated in economy mode, no visible pixilation at normal viewing distances.
Suggestions: None for the price.
Comments: I purchased this unit new over the internet for $3,600.00. Be sure to call suppliers and get their best price.

I am projecting an 84" image which hands down is beter than any rear projection TV. Getting rid of the big rear projection unit really opens up any room. I will never again consider rear projection.

I am currently projecting directly on the wall, an off white or egg shell color and performance is great. I can't wait to get a real screen.

During daylight hours with a good bit of ambient lighting the picture is better than what I was expecting. In the evening with a darkened room results are very impressive. If considering a rear projection TV purchase, I highly recommend everyone consider this projector as an option.

Application: Portable Presentations
What I Like: At only 4.8 lbs the unit is very travel friendly and the ease of use element is nice.
Comments: I would suggest that this unit is over rated from a light output standpoint. I had the unit up against a collegues projector (Rated at 850 ANSI) and the difference was marginal at best. Furthermore in normal projection mode the fan is quite noisy which doesn't help in a small boardroom environment. I have also found the manufacturer to be very weak in product support and getting information is a hassle. I was given the product with no choice from my employer however, had I been given the choice would have pursued an alternate projector.

Application: Home Theater
What I Like: Small size. bright picture
Suggestions: Quieter fans.
Comments: This projector is amazing. The picture is spectacular. I had been showing it on a sheet until I received my screen. The review is right on the money. This is a tremendous value for an HDTV compatible projector. Friends come over and think I spent over $10K on it. I run a progressive scan dvd (Pioneer DV-434 $269)into the vga input and feed Tivo and vcr into s-video and composite. The only complaint is the fan noise when in high bright mode. I used that while I had the sheet up but when I the Da-Lite Cinemavision 1.3 (100" diag) gain screen I went to eco mode. I used the Video Essentials DVD to calibrate it on the eco mode and it looks great. The fan is barely noticable and the bulb will last 2x as long. I have it mounted to the ceiling. Take note when installing it that the distance must be closely watched. The zoom lens is for fine adjustments. I paid about $4,200 for it.
