MOVIE THEATRE QUALITY PICTURE WITH THE BUILT IN LINE DOUBLER. EASY TO ADJUST SIZE AND FOCUS.REMOTE HAS IR BLASTER SO YOU DON`T HAVE TO POINT IT RIGHT AT THE PROJECTOR! |

WOULD BE GREAT IF IT HAD COMPUTER INPUT`S, I HAD TO HAVE (S)VIDEO PUT INTO MY COMPUTER TO SEE ON PROJECTOR, PICTURE IS DISAPOINTING THROUGH COMPUTER. SHARPNESS ADJUSTMENT WOULD ALSO BE NICE. ONLY HAS BRIGHTNESS,CONTRAST,HUE,SATURATION, ADJUSTMENT`S. |

IF YOUR LOOKING FOR BIG PICTURE FOR EVERY DAY NEED`S, TV, SATELLITE,VCR,COMPUTER, I WOULDN`T RECOMEND. STRICTLY FOR HOME THEATRE USING DVD`S, I THINK YOU WILL BE HAPPY WITH QUALITY.I BOUGHT USED FOR $1500.00 SO I CAN`T COMPLAIN, TO PAY FULL RETAIL WOULD BE A STRETCH.PROBABLY WILL WORK BETTER FOR SATELLITE AND REGULAR TV WITH HDTV HOOKUP, BUT YOU`LL NEED EXTERNAL HD CONVERTER.IF I TRY THIS I`LL UPDATE THIS REVIEW |

The Philips Felini is sold in Switzerland now for under 4000sFr. This is half of its original price and i bought one. The picture is outstanding, the zoomlens works perfect to set the right picture size. Its very bright with its 600ansi-lumen and sharp with the 1024*768 true resolution (each pixel is capable of 16mio colors! |

I put my projector on the ceiling, its very good, that the lens has a correction of the geometry (Top1:Bottom10) instead of having a trapezoid shaped picture. Only annoyance is the good noticable fan noise. But with a DVD player connected the picture is so great, that you forget the noise.. :-)))
Everybody is very impressed so far by the projector s preformance at such a low price. |
