Completely adequate. The picture is clear, and surprisingly bright. |

The bulbs last only about 50 hours. I have found that bulbs are cheaper from independent retailers than through Proxima's website. Contact me if you would like a list of websites that stock bulbs (the bulb for this projector is identical to the buld used in the Proxima LB10, LB20 and LB30+). |

I am a student, so I can't afford top of the line components. Fortunately this projector gets the job done. A nice, bright image (that is best viewed on a screen or in the dark) that fleshes out colors well, even though it is limited by being LCD.
It has RGB/Computer input, which I use for surfing the internet and playing video games, plus s-video and composite inputs. The remote makes it very easy to switch between these inputs, and it even has an audio pass-through.
The included remote is weak, but adequate. The image can be reversed for ceiling mounting, and there are plenty of options on the on-screen menu.
The unit is prone to collecting dust on the interior projection plate, but an occasional burst of compressed air cleans it effectively.
This projector is a definite value (especially if you can get one cheap from ebay) and believe me, nothing impresses the ladies more than a 6 feet wide showing of Casablanca and a bottle of Barcadi's. |
