| What I Like: |
EXCELLENT PICTURE QUALITY ESPECIALLY WITH ANAMORPHIC SOFTWARE.SUPPLIED VIDEO PROCESSOR DOES A NICE JOB.I NEVER HAD ANY PROBLEMS SINCE I BOUGHT IT 9 MONTHS AGO. |
| Suggestions: |
WOULD RECOMMEND OPTIONAL ANAMORPHIC LENS.IT DOES IMPROVE PICTURE QUALITY AND BRIGHTNESS BY 25%.IT WILL REDUCE THROW DISTANCE THOUGH. |
| Comments: |
WILL BE MORE THAN HAPPY TO GIVE ADDITIONAL INFO TO ANYBODY WHO MAY BE CONSIDERING TO BUY VX-1C. |

Make vent holes in the VHD controller box. The small fan in the controller just circulates hot air. |

I hope whoever buys the VX-1cx Runco Projector has better luck than I have. The picture is excellent whenever the 2 black lines don't appear. Some how the projector is getting hot and screwing up. I have gone through 2 controllers and that doesn't seem to be the problem.Runco doesn't even know whats causing it. If I cut the projector off and let it cool down it will work until it heats up again. Would advise not to purchase this until all of the "bugs" are worked out of it. |

Don't own one, but before ppl knock the high end projectors they should look at them. For one thing, ProjectorCentral has the specs wrong - the contrast ratio of 500:1 is ANSI rather than full-on/full-off (compare to the Plus U3-1080 w/ full-on/full-off contrast ratio of 800:1, but ANSI contrast ratio of only 300:1). Don't get me wrong - Runco and Seleco (among others) are pricey, but they are a good product. |
