Voltronic - Nov 20, 1999

Application: Audio/Visual
What I Like: Image quality-Excellent! Easy to use, lens shift, bright!

Does well in the boardroom as well as large venue.
Suggestions: A bit noisier than other units, but still rather quiet. About 30lbs, not as portable. Better suited for rental/production companies. If you're a traveling presenter I'd suggest the Sanyo PLC-XP10NA (1900 lum!), the 9000's little brother.
Comments: This projector is the bomb! Currently there is no other projector that can beat this one at price to performance. 2100 lumens, XGA, data looks excellent. Excellent for image magnification as well. Will hands-down beat anything by Infocus in price AND performance. This projector has proven itself as a serious, professional-workhorse of a projector and fits in well for industrial, large venue applications. Have seen this take the place of Sony 1272 and Barco 8100. This projector is excellent for the price. Even better is Sanyo's new PLC-XP10NA (XGA, 15lbs, 100 lumens!) with an MSRP of 11,999 and a street price of under 10k! I don't know how Sanyo does it! But that's another review all together.
