My installation utilizes a 120" Da-Lite Electrol(Cinemavision) screen (I must add that from even closer than comfortable viewing distance, the scren door effect is still missing!!). I have added a Quadscan Video Scaler (not that it was really needed) and the performance rivals any CRT projector installation I have seen. With comfortable levels of ambient light, a beautiful picture still blazes through. The video scaler boosts the resolution of DVD to easily match film quality. If I had not added the Quadscan, I would still be extremely pleased (it was part of that "always wanting more" syndrome). The video quality with the scaler easily boosts the contrast (blacks are really black and not washed out at all!) so that the picture looks great with the projector lamp set to "Low" mode. If you are considering the projector along with the Quadscan, the PX-20 would certainly be more than adequate. Only when the room ambient light levels are high (who watches a movie with all of the lights on?), does the "normal" lamp mode become neccessary. I currently utilize various video sources including DVD, Satellite (DSS), Laserdisc, SVHS and of course an assortment of video and computer games. The projector excels with every data source. We have been enjoying the installation for over a month now and you might guess, our house has become a popular location in the neighborhood. All everyone can say is "Wow" when they see the life-like imagery and realistic color. I did a lot of research before making this purchase, and I must truly say that Hank Nance of Studio Experience was a pleasure to work with. He was efficient, knowlegable and made sure that all of my items arrived promptly. |

Got it at $7500 from Visual Innovation. Very bright and clear project. View presentations without turning off the room lights.

The remote doesn't have random input source select, so need to scroll though the inputs to select one.
The remote doesn't have focus and zoom capability. |

If you don't need remote zoom and focus function, this is very good projector. |

It is bright, with good contrast even with a lot of abient light. The family does not have to sit in the dark to receive outstanding viewing experience. I am very pleased I choose this unit and would recommend it to anyone looking for a system that will work in an environment that can not be totally dark. |

I wish it had PIP, to display computer access to the Internet and TV programs at the same time. |
