The quality of picture on my drop-down 6' screen is amazing given that that is not the best screen in the world. The video from VHS is outstanding, even better using S-VHS and DVD is just mind blowing for a projector costing under £3000. In saying that, I have only compared this machine to the Sanyo, Sony VPL-900 and Sharp XVC20 so I suppose there may be better out there but cost is a big factor for most folks wanting this purely for that cinematic effect. I have noticed no artifacting or colour degradation at all.
