I have the 6500. It is AWESOME. I would have went with the 3000. As all my other TVA and plasma Are Panasonics and I never had a problem. I got the 6500 because I got it at Bestbuy with 3 years to pay for it. Oh and it was 1230.00 with a 4 year waranty
