EVAN, Thank you for the info.I usually do my home work before purchasing any electronics.You certainly hit the nail on the head by finding out these flaws.(defocusing,Auto iris noise and FI).Until they can find a solution to these problems.I will put off buying this unit. THANKS. STEVE
