Thanks for a great review. Primarily to get more contrast I am considering an RS10, a DLA-RS1X, and an RS2 to replace my aging DLA-G15U which has served me well. However, I am concerned with how brightness of the newer projectors compares with the DLA-G15, which I consider to be just OK in my current setup. The brightness ratings don't help much as the G15 was never officially rated as far as I know, and because the G15 was professionally calibrated so it would be considerably less in any case. But I do note that the G15 has a 400 watt Xenon lamp which maintains brightness well over its life, while the new projectors all use 200 watt lamps which will dim considerably over their lives.
I would appreciate it if someone can, ahem, shed some light on relative brightness I can expect with the newer projectors compared to the old on HD video material.
Thanks
