Cake Projector

This example of creative projection combines a few of my favorite things: Star Wars,a pico projector and a birthday cake. Which element is the most unlikely? The pico projector of course! A Pico Projector and The Speed of Light

I've always appreciated the way Microvison goes about the business of marketing their laser pico projectors. They understand that by geting their projectors into the right hands those hands can make magic and increase awareness and appreciation for their projectors like nothing they could have done on their own. Downsizing with a Pico Projector

Micovision's ShowWX was the pico projector of choice for Nirav Patel who developed a spherical display from a former bathroom lighting fixture, a fish lens, a tripod and open source software. What you're seeing here is a scaled down inexpensive way to view the same projected planetary data for which NOAA uses four projectors, unimaginably high resolution and a six foot diameter sphere.
