I read, with interest, a review on another site dated 5/6/09 as well as the response by PowersellerNYC on 8/5/09. My interest piqued when I read that Powerseller wrote "we do, however, take full responsibility for this issue as the customer ordered from us and not Infocus." We have had a very similar situation with five Panasonic projectors. They were represented to us as new, but were in fact previously sold units. After several unsuccessful attempts to reach someone at Powerseller than can offer any help, we would WELCOME the opportunity to return the units for credit as they indicated they eventually did for this customer. If customer service is extremely important to Powerseller, we certainly would have been contacted by now to initiate a resolution to our situation. |

UPDATE Can't figure out how to edit my previous review, so I'll give this a shot... Had what I considered to be a serious problem with my purchase of an Epson 6500UB projector from PowersellerNYC. Product arrived on time, but without a serial number label on the box and it was also missing the data plate with the same info. This prevented me from redeeming the manufacturer’s rebate worth $700 (cash plus bulb) as well as prohibited product registration for the extended warranty I purchased. I felt this constituted misrepresentation of price (at a minimum) and aggressively pursued restitution through the merchant's customer service representative, Justin. After some early “hiccups” with PowersellerNYC’s customer service, the company offered a satisfactory resolution to my complaint. All in all, the experience would’ve been better if the problem had never occurred, but I have to give them credit for settling the issue in an equitable manner. Would only suggest that buyers are very careful about establishing all the facts relevant to their purchasing decision before hitting the “checkout” button. Don’t assume anything and clear up any potential issues during the phone confirmation. Guess I could've done a better job of this myself and hope this review might help keep others from stumbling into the same situation. (Have to say I do absolutely love the projector.) |

I purchased a KENWOOD EXCELON DNX8120 on March 22,2009. Then they stated they are "NOT AN AUTHORIZED KENWOOD RESELLER" - I had to purchased the defective replacement part through an Authorized Dealer. I have been requesting a refund of my addtional warranty for over a month and they are not responding - I hope everyone will beware of their lack of Customer Service after the Sale. George |

| Phoned in a order with powersellernyc.com and spoke to a freindly fellow named David Gallager and purchased a Pioneer Pro111fd Plasma tv a Pioneer Sc07 av receiver he saved me at least $2500 compared to my local Brick and water store . 1 Main reason why i choose Powersellernyc.com was because they actually have a store in NY so i knew i wasnt dealing with a Fly By Night Basement shop company, I was dealing with a Store/Real Company. The Pioneer pro111fd setup with the sc07 receiver and my klipsch speaker system is like my hometheater dreams came to real Life i have never seen a picture or sound any better or nicer in my life ..I can now die in peace.Thank very much david for all your help assistance with my order you got it here safly on time and exactly as order ..Kudoos to David at ext #103 and powersellernyc.com you guys will defenitly be hearing from me again... | |||

Horrible! Promised a ship date they couldn't meet. Made lame excuses about shipment status. When the ultimately failed to deliver, it took nearly a month for them to process the refund, and then only after several phone calls. I'll never deal here again. |

| I ordered a $799 Visio L37 HDTV on Oct 1st 2007 that arrived a week later. The TV was defective. I tried Visio support in hopes that it could be revived but they told me it was more than two years old and had nothing to suggest. I repeatedly phoned Powersellernyc and finally received a replacement on the 30th. It was a remanufactured unit but at least it worked. Powersellernyc told me that they would pick up the defective unit. On the 31st of December they billed my credit card another $799 for the defective TV that still awaits pickup. | |||
