The NEC LT30's most striking feature is auto focus, which senses the distance from the projector to the screen and automatically adjusts focus. As such, there is no focus knob on the projector, though fine adjustments are often necessary and can be made via the projector's remote control. And with a three year manufacturer's warranty, there's no need to worry about replacing the projector should something happen to it.

The LT30 cranks out 1830 ANSI lumens in Presentation mode with the lamp on high, and 1073 ANSI lumens in eco mode with color optimized. The LT30's image is razor sharp and crystal clear, and keystone adjustment does not detract from this performance. The LT30 has the sharpest picture of any of the projectors in this shootout. It is a good choice for applications requiring the display of fine detail, such as intricate photography, data graphics, or even spreadsheets crammed with information.
