Sony Introduces 2000 Ansi Lumens Projector In A 15.4-Pound Package
ORLANDO, (INFOCOMM) June 10, 1999
- Sony Electronics will showcase its newest, high-end portable SuperBright™ LCD
projector incorporating 2000 ANSI lumens of light output in a 15.4-pound
package here at INFOCOMM.
"Continued advancements in projector technology allow us to
offer a product with brighter, clearer images, while still remaining dedicated
to reliability and flexibility," said Clint Hoffman, senior marketing
manager for display systems at Sony Electronics' Broadcast and Professional
Company. "This new projector reflects our serious commitment to research
and development in display technology."
The new projector will feature three Sony 1.3-inch LCD panels and
will accept a wide variety of input signals and resolutions. The projector
(name to be determined) will be available in the fall from select Sony
resellers.
