Pordenone, Italy, November 17th 1999 – SIM2 Multimedia is introducing a new portable projector for professional use. The SLC650X completes an LCD range which already includes both the entry-level SLC600 and the super-bright SLC HB1. Availability of the new SLC650X is foreseen for late November.

With a light output of 1000 ANSI lumens, the SLC650X is a high resolution projector whose three panels come in native XGA (1024x768), while intelligent compression makes the projector compatible with SXGA (1280x1024) resolution. Use of manual zoom and focus have made it possible to contain weight to a mere 4,4 Kg.

The SLC650X has been developed to address presentation needs in the most diverse contexts. It can easily be hand-carried, while also providing high brightness output for effortless lights-on presentations.

Other typical uses include fixed installations in conference rooms, training and educational facilities, hotel meeting rooms and any other assembly place where normal ambient light is present.

End-user price positioning will be at around 6,900 USD.
