Optoma Announces Solution to Cable De-Clutter for Home Entertainment Systems
Optoma has paired its popular WHD200 Wireless HDMI kit with the award winning HD25-LV home entertainment projector to further simplify home theater setup by reducing installation costs and lengthy HDMI cable runs. The resulting product is called the HD25-LV-WHD.
The included WHD200, a $200 added value, allows customers to connect a Blu-ray player, digital set-top box, current and last generation game consoles or digital media players to the projector wirelessly up to 100 feet away. It wirelessly streams Full 1080p content from devices with no compression and nearly zero latency, allowing audio and video content to be viewed from various rooms in the home including backyard movie night with family and friends.
Optoma’s Senior Director of Product Management, Jon Grodem said, “Reintroducing the HD25-LV to the market with the WHD200 provides customers with an all-in-one solution for excellent image quality, audio and cable-free connectivity. This aligns with Optoma’s overall direction to provide customers an enjoyable experience from set-up to viewing popular TV shows and movies on the projector.”
Two input devices can be simultaneously connected to the WHD200 allowing the WHD200 to act as an HDMI switch. Switching between the two sources is as easy as pushing a button on the included remote control. A second display can also be connected using the included HDMI out port, providing a second display for use during upcoming holiday parties or football games.
The HD25-LV-WHD includes the HD25-LV 1080p projector, an ultra bright, full 3D projector for home entertainment including movie watching, gaming and TV. With a luminous 3500 lumens, the HD25-LV-WHD is suitable for daytime viewing, and features a 20,000:1 contrast ratio.
The HD25-LV-WHD includes built-in 16W stereo speaker system with SRS WOW HD audio processing to eliminate the need for external speakers. As with all Optoma projectors, the HD25-LV-WHD uses the latest DLP® technology to deliver exceptional Full HD quality and immersive 3D visuals.
The projector has a comprehensive I/O panel consisting of two HDMI v1.4a, two VGA-in, VGA-out, 3D VESA Port, composite video, two audio-in, audio-out, RS-232C and USB-B for all your connectivity needs.
