Kortrijk, April 18, 2005 – Barco announces two exciting 3-chip DLP projectors for the fixed installation market, the RLM R6+ and the SLM R9+, both with SXGA+ resolution.

Barco recently announced its new compact SLM R9+ Performer projector, which is based on state-of-the-art DLPTM technology and delivers up to 9000 ANSI lumens. The SLM R9+ combines DLPTM technology from Texas Instruments with Barco's expertise in electronics, optics and mechanical design. It has an extended lamp lifetime of, typically, 1,250 hours; additional dust filters that reduce sensitivity to dust and other external contamination; and continued compatibility with existing TLD lenses.

The new RLM R6+ performer is Barco's latest high brightness Mercury projector with 6000 ANSI lumen light output. This projector is ideal for large screen, corporate data applications. Renowned for its low noise level and its outstanding picture quality, and combined with its sealed engine and long lifetime lamps, the RLM R6+ is an outstanding DLPTM solution with low total cost of ownership.
