Personal Experience
We purchased ours in Nov 06. We have a huge wall and it is really awesome on that wall. It looks better and bigger on our wall than on the screen. It has good sound, and a pretty good picture. We have had several football parties. It best serves to watch dvds. I have also played xbox on it some.

Problems
After about 3 months the first bulb started getting blurry. There is a filter that must be kept blown out and clean or this will happen. We had to buy a bulb. It was right at 200 bucks, and that new bulb actually exploded while we were watching it. We had watched movies all day, guess we should have given it a break, then after another 200 dollars we got another bulb. which is currently working but on the last few bulbs there is a purple spot on the left part of the screen at the top. And after it has been on a bit you see a blue area in the screen. in the middle. I like it but hate the problems we have had with bulbs and spots on the picture. svh
