| I am not sure why the rave reviews, but you should check out the Dell forums before purchasing this projector. These projectors have a known manufacturing defect. They are also unsuitable for church use in that there is no way to turn off the Dell logo and source search; the video mute displays a ridiculous "Press the mute button again..." message across the wall. You would be better off checking out Planar, BenQ, or Panasonic. |

| Ours failed with under 20 hours of use. Unfortunately, we rarely used the projector, so it was out of warranty (Dell's sub-standard warranty length). The temperature light comes on, and the unit shuts off. Period. Yours will too; they all do. |
