Personal Experience
1800 hours and two years later, I still love the PB6200. I send an upscaled 1080i signal to it and everything looks brilliant. I will say that after ~1750hrs, the bulb has begun to get noticeably dimmer. It's the original bulb though, so I can't complain too much (and bulb prices have come down a lot ~$200 each now). It's made a couple odd noises throughout it's life, but apparently none of them were serious. It pays to occasionally (very gently) swab off the color wheel as it will become clouded with dust over time and cut down your light. Otherwise, the unit seems extremely reliable. I know it's technically not HD as an XGA projector, but it looks as good as my 1080i Sony Wega, and it does it at 100" across. With a projecter, the viewing angle is excellent too ... almost 180 degree. I always hated viewing my LCD TV at extreme angles, but the projector has been really great. I would "upgrade," but I've seen no reason to do so.

Problems
dusty color wheel needed cleaning twice. Bulb is getting dimmer after ~1750 hrs. Otherwise it's been perfect.
