Personal Experience
AMAZING - I was able to use my mount for my benq pe8700+ and so I swapped back and forth a couple times - The difference between the two is nothing short of AMAZING. While in the home theater store I definitely was impressed but comparing the benq to the JVC really blew me away. Also I spent time comparing the ruby, hd81 and this one. CLEAR winner.

Contrast - It is amazing how bright the PJ is with such a high contrast. Given the contrast and the black levels it is amazing that it is this bright... granted I am using a firehawk.

Brightness - almost too bright... Can't believe I am saying that. High mode is unnecessary.

Picture Quality - I hooked up xbox 360, HD DVD and Comcast 1080i input. Back to the future II and III had a 3D dimension to it. One scene depicts a drab country western background - in the foreground Doc's wife-to-be has a purple dress on. It was stunning and really showed the depth of colors as well as their reproduction.

Fit&Finish - Piano black finish with simple controls - can't be beat.

Setup - The vert/horizontal shift is handy. Literally I simply used my old mount and was off and running. The only knock on this pj is that you don't have electrical controls for the shift, focus or image size and really who cares? how often do you really move your screen or the format of the material is so off that you would actually shift the pic size?

Problems
NONE - for the negative user reviews on this PJ I would say that PC should remove them as they are obviously written by people who do not own this projector.
