| i was able to attend a demo of this product at Hoffman Video Systems. it was situated in a small room w/50% ambient light on what i believe was a Stewart GreyHawk. this product is amazing! and i can lift it into place on my own! many improvments on the PTD 7700 platform, and tons of light, so you can jack the contrast, and bail the brightness to please even the most discerning DP! and if anyone out there has worked with the 7700, you will be even more impressed with the built-in lens shift, geometry and impeccable scaling features. kudos Panasonic! i was not able to see Studio (D5, HDCAM, SR), Hi-Def, but BluRay looked great. nor could i see PC Controller interface. also, the unit now has On-board LED 'input' indicators, but could also use a 'shutter' indicator as well. all in all, great product, great features...and excellent pricepoint. |
