| I had the AE700 for about 2 years, clean the filter more frequently then what is recommended (every other movie!) The lamp has been on low and the fan on high setting. It is setup in a climate controlled finished basement (60-75ยบ)average. Recently the bulb has dimmed to the point where watching a movie is no longer a possibility. The bulb has approx 687 hours! Like many others this is far below the manufacture's recommended bulb life and is not covered under warrenty. This is unacceptable, especially if proper care and maintenance has been done at scheduled intervals above and beyond what is required. I love the performance of the projector, I just expected the bulb to last at least close to the 3000 bulb life. Better get a replacement bulb before it explodes inside the projector. |
