| I have a love-hate relationship with this projector. Mostly love, but... I have had the projector since Feb and was blown away when hooked it up. Spectacular picture. Within 200 hours of use though I started getting a red to blue color gradient on the screen (imagine a screen that is supposed to be white, but instead it starts out red on the left, goes to white in the middle, and then blue on the right). I am not being nitpicking here like some crazy high-end AV person - black and white movies turned to red-white-blue movies. Anyone could see it. This gradient got worse over time, and I started experiencing bad pixel misalignment (close to 2 pixels), and then screen flickering. OK, so I got a bum unit (manufacture date of Dec 2006 - forums indicate that others have problems as well). It happens. Sent it back for repair under warranty (they were very polite). Well, no more screen flickering, and the picture is sharp, but I still have the gradient problem, although not nearly as bad as before. I can live with it as it is mostly at the extreme edges of the picture. So, to sum things up - I love the features and operation of the projector but I have also been frustrated with its unreliability. It had the potential of being perfect. Likes: 1) Fantastic picture; 2) Easy to use; 3) EASY to set up (lens shift is great); 4) Quiet operation; 5) BRIGHT (bright enough to use during the day); 6) Good warranty (with extended that many throw in for free). |

| See above - 1) Color gradient; 2) Pixel misalignment 3) Screen flickering; 4) A lot of dust on inner surface of lens, no matter how clean I keep the filter - not sure this makes any difference. |
