Personal Experience
I use this in my home theater - works VERY well. The image quality is excellent. I gave it an "average" for features because of the lack of powered zoom/focus/lens shift. I realize they were shooting for small and light, and those features contribute to "big" and "heavy". Still, I have it mounted in a soundproof enclosure on the ceiling, and once it's adjusted for size and focus, that's it.

Problems
Very sensitive to heat - it's fairly loud, so in a HT environment it should be in a soundproof enclosure. I put two 120mm fans on my enclosure to exhaust enough heat to keep it running. Bulb life seems better than advertised. One other issue: there's a 60mm fan between the power supply and bulb that seems to run all the time (as long as the unit is plugged-in, of course). Eventually, that fan will die and the only way you'll notice it is that the unit will shut down after about 10 minutes of operation and the bulb light on top will flash red. You must remove the power supply to get to that fan.
