| I love this Projector. It is extremely easy to pop in a DVD adjust the picture on the wall and have great sound with a picture. The different features are easy to use. Obviously this is not the right projector for someone looking for the Highest in picture quality, but it is still very very good. I project onto the side of the two story stucco house next door to us (no windows). The picture is approximately 25' wide and 14' tall (you read that right). My wife and college/High school kids love it. Instant movie theater. You cannot detect that the wall is not smooth. Up close you do see the screen door effect, but it is not a factor when you sit and watch the movie. BEST PART - it is $449 from EPSON if you buy a refurbished model with 2 year warranty, including a subwoofer. After rebate you can get a 3 way Panovision screen for another $100 ($250-$150 rebate). Hook up a laptop with a serial port and you can play from a NetFlix downloaded movie for $1. Very sturdy projector. |

| The remote is backlit and very good, but you can't read the menu so need a flashlight or have to hold it upto the light unless you know where the button is. The front legs aren't adjustable, so you may need to tilt up on extra pads, but the lens shift is very handy and can handle most adjustments of the screen location. Screen door effect is visible in some conditions, but for the price the picture quality is amazing. |
