I purchased both this projector and an Epson Home 10+ at Christmas last year; the Benq for my living room and the Epson for the game room. After using both for nearly a year I can truly say that the W100 is the way to go and is an excellent value. Running 1080i and 480p images are smooth and and crisp on my 106" screen. Brightness is excellent; even in cinema/eco. mode visibility is tolerable, and can be almost punishing at higher brightness settings. Rainbows are a non issue, and the screen door effect is negligible from distances of more than 1-2 feet.
Overall I looked far and wide before purchasing, and even by hedging my bet with the Epson I still feel that the W100 is the best bang for the buck in a 480p projector. |

| Problems |
| The projector once displayed a message indicating the air filter required service; however the W100 does not have a filter, Benq technical support was dumbfounded by this, but the issue has yet to occur again. |
