| After several years dabbling in the hobby of 'Home Theater'I was finally able to financially take the plunge with a High Def projector. I have used a 52" Hitachi HD RPTV for the last 2 years as the center of my system and enjoyed its astounding clarity and picture but was needing the BIG picture to get that real home cinema 'feel' . I researched online for several months trying to decide on which projector to get, and settled on two to choose from. The Epson Cinema 400 or the Sanyo Z5. Because I have a totally dark room in the basement if I need it to be, the Sanyo Z5 was the clear winner for me. The sharper image, multiple HDMI outputs, and brilliant colors sold me, and I bought it site unseen from AGI for a low $1099 shipped ! I got it all set up at home on friday night after woork and my jaw hit the floor. I run my Xbox 360 with HDDVD player, over component cables and the image blew me away. I have not seen a clearer image from any LCD flat panel or Plasma TV to date. And I hit the big stores weekly to see what new tech has come in. I am truly a happy customer with this projector. Any friend that I have had over can not believe how sharp and crystal clear the picture is. They are blown away with it as well. Anyone who wants to have a 'real' home theatre needs to pick one of these up along with a 100" screen, and then immerse yourself in a home movie experiance. |
