| The black level on this machine is excellent. While many have expressed the audible noise from the fan it is not a distraction from your viewing experience. I did not notice any rainbows or dithering with this machine which cold be do to its 7 segment 5 time speed color wheel. The picture it puts out is razor sharp with processing of high definition sources such as blu-ray and hd-dvd. It also did a fantastic job with regular dvd movies as well. I was using a Sony VPL-HS20 prior to purchasing this unit and I considered doing a shoot out but after turning this thing on there was no comparison to be made. It blows away everything I have seen so far in the home theater market so far which includes many of the 1080P projectors out there. |
