Personal Experience
I LOVE IT!!!! PERIOD!
I just got this projector online for about $850 about a month ago. It was a replacement for my old Viewsonic Cine1000. Immediately I noticed a difference, with the same old DVD player and the same ole component cables I IMMEDIATELY could see the enhancement in quality and sharpness of the 480i picture. I couldn't wait to get my new equipment set up. I eventually did hook up my new Sony DVD player that upconverts to 1080p and using HDMI along with my Yamaha HDMI receiver. I now have the full picture that this projector can handle which is 1080i on all my DVD's now. Everything looks incredible, the brightness, the contrast, EVERYTHING is amazing. I couldn't believe the quality, because I was always skeptical of Mitsubishi simply because I didn't like their vehicles. But this projector is out of this world. It is quiet, beautiful, and amazingly cheap! Best buy I have ever made in my theater room. This is better than when I got Polk Audio speakers for half off!

Problems
Only one problem but I don't know if it is because of the DVD player or the Projector, when I watched a full screen movie I would try to change it over to full screen so the faces weren't stretched out but it wouldn't change over, I think though that it was just because the DVD player was just busy upconverting to a widescreen resolution thats all. All in all, this projector was worth WAY more than what I paid and I am more than happy with my purchase. I recommend to EVERYONE that they try this one out for a starting projector.
