Personal Experience
Replaced an InFocus X1 with this projector. Looked at quite a few "under $1500" reviews but the "poor-man's 1080 projector" phrase caught my attention. Had the Panasonic for 4 weeks now and am very pleased - the eco-mode is plenty bright. Our older Sony DVP NS315 DVD player looked great over componet video but didn't fill the entire screen so purchased a Oppo DV-980H upconverting player and the picture is just incredible! We're only using a 4x8 sheet of high density insulation board with white roll photography paper glued to it! What an experience! I don't think I can ever watch a movie on a TV again.
