Absolutely fantastic picture! I've had this unit for about 3 weeks now, and it's still just as amazing. Out of the box the picture was OK, but just a few adjustments (which were easy to perform) and it was incredible. The color accuracy appears to be superb, so I don't feel the need for a professional calibration, which saves lots of time and some money.
I usually wouldn't spend this much money on a Sony product, but this is one where Sony has outdone themselves. |

| Problems |
| The only issues I have are the relatively high cost of the projector, which ends up being a personal justification, and the auto-iris, which Sony seems to have made a bit too aggressive in a quest to get black-level bragging rights. It doesn't take much fiddling to solve that problem, but I do wish they hadn't been so zealous. The default setting for the iris is a bit too much. That's my only complaint. |
