Personal Experience
I purchased this projector to replace my venerable Infocus 4805. I'm using a 119" Da-Lite High Contrast 16x9 screen. The projector is table mounted 12' from the screen. This projector is very bright even in the economy mode. Picture quality is a tale of two cities. Standard def. dvd's using an upconverting dvd player look sharp & well defined. However, standard def. satellite through s-video appears somewhat soft & noisy. Fan noise in economy mode is practically nonexistent & only slightly louder in normal mode. Set-up & picture adjustments are easy.

Problems
The automatic input select function did not work right out of the box. The dynamic iris creates a subtle flickering of the picture which I found to be distracting. So much so that I turned the dynamic iris off.
