Personal Experience
Using a dvd player and 1080i cable box for source, and a homemade screen 4 x 8 feet. Can't say enough about picture quality. Very bright, very saturated. The lack of visible pixel structure is most important to me, as my eyesight is (lucky for me) very sharp. The image is far better than any theater I've ever been in, just smaller. Great menus, great remote--backlit keys especially nice. Lens throw and shift make placement a breeze. Until 1080p is $1300 and 2000 lumens bright, this is the one to buy.
Problems
None so far. 181 hours on the lamp, and not the slightest hint of a hiccup.
