Replaced our 2100 lumen sanctuary projector at church with this inexpensive lightweight 4000 Lumen projector, and I became a hero overnight with the pastor, because it definetly has great brightness that we needed. The white letters of our songs really pop on this projector, and we can watch videos with the lights on. I love the network connectivity for our AV operators to turn it on and off, and the auto shut down if we leave it on by accident. It is also really quiet for the people sitting around it, and really light to carry to other buildings.

Problems
The worse thing about this projector that I didn't find out till I bought it, is that the analog VGA circuitry is really unstable on locking onto an average VGA signal. I run the signal down a 100' VGA cable with a small Extron amp, but it always seems like it is trying to auto position the image on our pastor's powerpoint sermons, and sometimes blanks out. I solved this by buying a Geffen VGA to DVI converter and placing it at the projector. This basically bypasses Optoma's decode circuitry and fixed the problem. But cost me around $300.
