| The controlled lighting in my HT is nice but I don't like sitting in there. As a result, I wasn't using the HT much at all. AX200U to the rescue. In my living room, if I close the drapes, the bright output from the AX200 allows acceptable front projection viewing. e.g In medium cloudy-day lighting, the picture is still very watchable and the colors/contrast are decent. (My Sanyo Z5 didn't have the lumen horsepower to give a watchable picture in this type of compromised lighting) Also, the 2X zoom and optical shift of the AX200 were important to me. In my living room setting, this gave a lot of flexibililty for unobtrusive cabinet placement to project onto an offset fixed screen. I just bought another AX200 for a 92" Greywolf 2 screen in the master bedroom. Great combination that results in great colors, contrast, black blacks and 3D depth. The Greywolf has an inherent narrow retro-reflective viewing cone but the lumen horsepower of the AX200 easily overpowers and overcomes this. When I demo my bedroom HT to guests, there is a lot of wow and they won't get out of our bed. My wife won't let me demo the bedroom TV any more. Other nice features: -The timed shutdown is handy in case I fall asleep. -The remote is friendly. All buttons are intuitive, a nice size and placed very conveniently. -Filter removes easily for cleaning. |

| In my bedroom, the fan is a quite noisy and the AX200 throws off quite a bit of heat. However. the incredible 720p picture is absolutely worth it! |
