| I purchased the H-76 new for $5K in 2005. I used it for 300 hours in a 30 month span. The unit stopped working and was still under warranty, so I sent it in for repair. I was sent a refurbished unit. I used that unit for 220 hours and it started to overheat and shut down. Now, I sent that unit in for repair and the cost is going to be $1,200.00. My warranty is expired. I have decided to buy a new Panasonic PT-AX200 for $1,299.00. Optoma gets a thumbs down rating. |

| I researched Optoma for many hours before I bought their product. I feel that I was totally robbed by this company. I bought a brand new projector and it breaks down and they send me a refurbished unit, then that unit breaks down within one year. I had a total of 520 hours on both units. Now I have to pay another $1,200.00 to get it fixed. It appears that the thermal boards are faulty. That is what happened both times. I have decided to not repair the unit and buy another product. I give the H-76 2 stars. |
