| I've had H31 for over two years now, and I have loved every minute of it. The picture quality is fantastic--people are still blown away by the picture, even though at this point most have grown accustomed to HD picture quality, and this projector is, of course, only 480p (and projected against only an off-white wall). Then again, who do you know with a 100-inch LCD or plasma screen? Until a few a months ago, I really only got to appreciate the full power of the H31 when I watched DVDs. The enormous size of the the screen really magnified the poor picture quality of standard-definition TV (digital satellite) pretty badly. Finally, I decided to switch to an HD satellite package. I found this to be very worthwhile investment: much improved quality of the picture as well as 16:9 aspect ratio. I'm going on about 800 hours on the bulb right now... whenever it goes, I'll probably move up to a 720p projector, but this one has been fantastic. |
