I have had my unit 2 years, I sell and install home elevators, my demographic is 3-10 million dollar homes, all have extensive home theatres and the customers really like to show off their toys. I built my own home theatre off designs I liked of theirs, but had a budget in mind. I did extensive research into all projectors available to me, my viewing distance is 10 feet on a 98" 16:9 fixed Da-lite screen, I can control ambient light and have remote control dimmers strategically located throughout the viewing room. The PT-AE900U is ceiling mounted all wires completely concealed. Sitting that close you think you would see every flaw, but you don't. I run my unit on econo at 720 P and I will match my system to any I have seen in any of the homes I have worked on in the last 6 years. Sports look great, I watched my Phillies win the world series and it was breath-taking. Lord of the Rings, is awesome. I paid about 1400.00 from AVI.Com and have had no trouble with it at all. I am still on my original bulb. When ever I get a chance I stop by my local electronics store and compare new technology to my old system. And I can't see getting another projector at this time, because none compare, dollar for dollar. My couch is right under the projector and I have low 7.5 foot ceilings, but the fan is so quiet you aren't even aware it is cooling. |

| Problems |
| No problems at all, other comments from consumers are actually startling. I am a perfectionist to a degree, and this projector is a great value for the money. |
