Personal Experience
This projector is excellent for hd movies, television, ps3 games and football. It is best run in eco mode and does need a little calibration. But for the money the picture simply can't be beat. The light weight unit can sit on the top shelf in almost any position and keystones very well without dropping picture quality. The lamp holds up well lasting 3000 hours in ECO and is cheaply replaced at $200 compared to other units. This was the best investment I have made in my home theater.
Problems
On thing to be careful of is walking in front of the projector. You will want to shield your eyes. Also keep your picture low to avoid eye strain. Pencil pushups are good to relieve strain if the picture size is taking some adjustment.
