Personal Experience
At a little over 3 lbs it is very light and can be moved easily. I have used it indoors for video games, watching home movies, and DVDs. I am very impressed with the images. They are not washed out in ambient lighting, and are crisp and clear in the darkness. Outdoors it worked very well and, in fact, we had porch theater this weekend that was a great success. It was better than being at the theater. The HDMI input provides the best picture quality, but I quite liked the images from the s-video and composite inputs also. VGA to notebook computer was good also.

I like the 15 second shut down time.

Problems
HDCP difficulties with a Philips DVD player, but was the players fault, not the projector. This projector runs very hot, so do keep it well ventilated.
