Personal Experience
When I bought this projector for $250.00 from a consignment store, I didn't really think too much of it, but then I hooked it up to an XBOX360 via vga cable. Also a bluray player via hdmi to Dvi-d adapter, and the thing was amazing!! As it turned out I had a 150" white wall in my basement that would do the trick, and holy crap did it ever! 720p at 150" with all my friends playing halo 3 will be in my mind for ever!

contrast is a bit crappy, you need a really dark room with maybe a gray screen for the darks to look dark. Otherwise it kicks ass.
