Personal Experience
I ordered this HD25-LV after returning the Epson PowerLite Home Cinema due to poor black level. The black looks grey.

I am so please with this HD25-LV. The picture is so much brighter, color jumps out and the black is super black. The picture is sharper and color vivid. Viewing blue ray movies are better then in the movie theater.

I am absolutely blown away. I highly recommend this projector.

Problems
The down side is that the warranty is only 1 year as compared with Epson's 2 years warranty.

The HD25-LV is $200 more then the Epson Powerlite Home Cinema.

Lamp life is shorter then Epson's 3500 against 5000 hrs. Beside the lamp is more expensive.

Higher power consumption at 339W against Epson Powerlite Home Cinema 285W

I also prefer Epson customer services better.
