Personal Experience
Got this projector in new condition from ebay for just over £1000. Image quality is quite good, but not as good as I expected due to low contrast ratios. I just can't seem to get anything but greys on this projector which is really annoying and spoils the experience. Also the image was not as good as my infocus LP700 which is only an 800x600 model, the images are more vibrant and definitely sharper on the Infocus. One good point is it is very quiet in Eco mode. Screendoor effect is also quite minimal. Apart from the lacking in contrast, which is really the downfall of this projector, it performs quite well, but I don't think it is the best choice for Home cinema because it has too high Lumen output. To acheive better blacks the lumen output needs to be lower.

Seems to have a strange green shading effect in very white scenes gradiating from left to right. Don't know whether this common to all models or just mine.
