I have had this projector for over 5 months. In this period I found that I really should have listened to the advice given in these reviews. To save time, as soon as you buy this projector get yoursef a progresive scan DVD player & digital box for digital broacasting, both connected by component cable. Don't get me wrong this projector is excellent without the above, it really impressed me when I first got it, mostly because I was comparing it with my old projector an NEC MT600 600*400 resolution & 350 lumens. But after a while I thought about the reviews & decided to get first the digital box & the picture was incredible & soon I found my self watching the Sunday night movies insted of any of my 200 odd DVD collection, so I thought I should get a progressive scan DVD player. No kidding, the picture is 100% better, trust me if you are willing to spend the money on this projector please get everything that is going to get the true potential out of it, it is fantastic. The other thing I would like to say is that unless you have a dark room to watch during day light I would not recomended to watch movies, having said that in my fairly light room I'm able to watch sports thru the day, but for dark scenes it would be a struggle. I most definitly highly recommend this projector. |

| Only two things, the first one is that I wish the projector would memorise the keystone corrections because every time you turn it on you have to reset it (however, it does not take long). The second thing is the rainbows. I don't believe there is anybody that can't see them, but I know this sounds stupid but if you try not to think about them, somehow you either don't see them or they don't seem to bother you. Having said that if you always like having friends coming over to watch movies you will have same people that literally can not watch the movie because of the rainbow. For me they don't bother me at all & the less you think about them the less you see them. Instead what you do see is an absolutely wonderful picture. |
