Personal Experience
I purchased the LT260 in January 2003 and have used it for about 800 hours in a dedicated home theater. Picture quality is outstanding from HDTV and DVD (progressive input) sources. The picture is bright and both contrast and color reproduction are very good. Projector Central's review is extremely accurate. I am very satisfied with the projector and run it exclusively in eco-mode.

Problems
No problems, but even though fan noise is low in eco-mode, I have my doubts about the 29db rating. Also, some features are hard to find on the menus. Specifically, I note that other users (in their ratings) have indicated that the projector will not save keystone corrections (I know, try not to use the feature, but sometimes you must...). While I originally thought this to be the case, it is not true. Buried in the projector menus is a choice called "3D Reform Save." Select this and your are all set. You get to it by selecting Advanced Menu, then Projector Options, then Setup, then Page 4. Information about this feature is buried on page 99 of the manual. In other words, the menus could be a little more user-friendly. All-in-all, a great product.
