Personal Experience
I had very strict spec requirements (DLP, XGA res., all TV broadcast types video compat., 35 db or less fan noise, at least 1000 lumens, min. 400:1 contrast, and 4:3 aspect) when I started looking around, and the only 2 projectors which met them all were the Optoma 735 and the Mitsubishi XD200. Though I would have preferred the XD200, i didn't want to pay another $1500 for 900 more lumens and PIP. This unit is smaller and lighter, and has both 4:3 and 16:9 aspects (XD200 is 4:3 only). I would very highly recommend this projector to anyone wanting the best of both worlds for presentations and home theater.
